ACT Test Preparation
The Lindero Learning ACT Test Prep program 
familiarizes the student with the content and structure of the test. The student learns strategies for maximizing his or her score on this standardized test and reviews any core skills areas (English, Math, Reading, and Science) that need improvement.
Lindero Learning Center specializes in individualized and customized programs. To determine a students ACT test prep needs, Lora meets individually with parents and students in a free consultation. She will examine and analyze a sample test, identify the student’s strengths and weaknesses, and then make recommendations for improving score. Program options include:
Comprehensive Programs: These 40 hour programs are recommended for student starting in the average score ranges or lower. This ACT test prep program includes all materials, instruction, practice tests, skills instruction and review, test taking strategies, and practice test performance analysis and review. This program includes complete instruction in all areas of the ACT. Packages with 10% discounts are available.
Modified Programs: These 20 hour programs are designed for students who only need instruction in two of the four subject areas, or whose starting scores are in the above average ranges. Instruction is a bit more targeted than in the Comprehensive Program since students do not need review in all areas. The Modified ACT test prep program includes materials, instruction, practice tests, skills instruction and review, test taking strategies, and practice test performance analysis and review. Packages at 5% discount are available.
Hourly Programs: When a student needs less than the 20 hour Modified Program, the Hourly Program is the best option. This ACT test prep choice is often made by students who already score in the upper ranges but still want to improve their scores. Instruction is very targeted and often emphasizes practice tests and review as the primary instruction tool. Test taking strategies are frequently a key instructional area. Students schedule an appropriate number of hours at the standard rates. Materials are not included in this option, but are available for a small extra fee. 
As mentioned above, Lora Malvani oversees and directs all ACT test prep programs. The instruction is delivered by Lora and the rest of the Lindero Learning teaching staff, who are experienced, credentialed teachers who have also been trained in the ACT. Parents may select either Standard Instruction, which includes instruction by all qualified teachers, or Master Instruction, in which a student works exclusively with Lora.
